Watch Back: Rural Water Services Conference 2022

This 2022 Rural Water Services Conference was held on 8th September in the Hodson Bay Hotel, County Roscommon. The theme of the event was 'A Responsibility to Act — the Evolving Role of the GWS Sector'.

A range of experts from throughout the sector spoke on key areas, including the transposition of the recast EU Drinking Water Directive into national legislation, the ongoing review of the rural water sector, quality assurance and water safety planning. The conference also included a panel discussion on the leadership role the GWS sector can take in addressing Ireland's environmental challenges.
