The autumn 2023 edition of Rural Water News is now available to read online. The latest edition includes full coverage of September's Rural Water Services Conference, which was attended by Minister of State in the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage (DHLGH), Kieran O'Donnell TD.
The winners of the 2023 Group Water Scheme Excellence Awards are also featured, following their announcement by Minister O'Donnell during his conference opening address. As part of Rural Water Week, the NFGWS launched a guidance document, aimed at assisting group water schemes in the development of raw monitoring plans. The guide is discussed in more detail in the new magazine, along with other features on GWS training and the impacts of climate change on waterbodies globally.
