What are the Group Water Scheme Excellence Awards?
Since its inception in the 1960s, the group water scheme (GWS) sector has been a shining example of innovation, leadership, and adaptability. While the core mission of delivering safe, clean drinking water to rural communities has remained steadfast, the world around us has evolved dramatically. Through every change, GWS committees and members have consistently stepped up, meeting new challenges with determination and ingenuity.
Time and again, group water schemes have proven their ability to navigate complex legislative, operational, and administrative landscapes. Whether embracing cutting-edge technologies, responding to environmental shifts, or pioneering new approaches, GWSs continue to lead with vision and resilience.
