The National Federation of Group Water Schemes (NFGWS) is delighted to announce that the Rural Water Services Conference will take place this year on Thursday, 7 September in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone, Co Roscommon.
This year's conference theme, 'Embracing Change – Opportunities and Challenges for the GWS Sector’, focuses on what is a time of transformation within the sector. A range of experts will be speaking on key areas, including key developments in rural water sector policy and funding throughout the past 12 months, drinking water source protection, and the importance of participation in the GWS sector.

The conference will be held as part of series of events that are happening during Rural Water Week 2023, which runs from 4–8 September. It is once again being organised by the NFGWS in association with the Local Authority Services National Training Group (LASNTG).
